WE PRAY AND GIVE THANKS

Sunday, 5th April, 2020

Along with other Anglicans in Australia: We pray for the Archbishops, Bishops, Clergy and People of Australia.

In our Diocese: We pray for all Clergy and people of the Parishes of the Diocese.

We give thanks and continue to pray for: those affected by the fires and for those giving them ongoing assistance. We also pray for medical staff world wide who are on the front line treating those affected by COVID-19. We pray for calm and peace in towns and cities everywhere. That all may respect new laws and restrictions, so that we may work through this season and get back to some sense of normality in our daily lives. Help us to focus on you Lord Jesus. We also pray for those who have passed away as a result of complications associated with this virus.

Locally we pray and give thanks for: our Clergy and all who minister in our Parish, for all churches in our Tumut Community, for Principals, Staff and Students of our local schools and for all Scripture Teachers. For Medical staff working in hospitals, medical centres and pharmacys and for those who are working so hard to keep our local supermarket shelves stocked. For our freight, medical supplies & mail coming in and for food outlets who are providing new ways of feeding people. Lord please help everyone to respect all people, especially the elderly and those with disabilities when out and about.

We pray for those in need of God’s comfort and care: as listed on our Pew Sheet, and those named on our Mercy List.

We pray for those who mourn: For all who feel the emptiness and loss of loved ones at this time, may you know God's loving care and support. We pray especially for the family and friends of those people who've passed away this week.
