WE PRAY AND GIVE THANKS

Sunday 8th December, 2024

Along with other Anglicans in Australia: We pray for the Clergy and People of the Diocese of Bunbury, WA.

In our Diocese: We pray for the Clergy and People of St. John's Canberra; St. John's Care; Sutton Road Mission District; Australian National University; Holy Cross, Hackett; Brindabella Court Self Care Units, Downer; Radford College; The Dinka Community and the Anglican Schools Commission.

Locally we pray and give thanks for: Our Clergy and all who Minister in this Parish; for the Uniting Church Community; Patients, Doctors, Nursing and General Staff of Tumut Hospital and all Emergency Service Personnel.

We pray for those in need of God’s comfort and care as listed in our Pew Sheet: also those named on our Altar List and all known to us with special needs. We also pray for the elderly, those living on the streets, those living alone and and those who feel isolated from their families.

We also give thanks for those whose situations and health have improved.

We also pray for the conflicts involving Ukraine, Russia, Israel, Palestine, Lebanon, Syria and surrounding countries and hope that peace will come to all soon.

We pray for those who mourn: For all who feel the   emptiness and loss of loved ones at this time, may   you know God's loving care and support. We pray   for the family and friends of those who have lost   loved ones in recent times, remembering especially

the family and friends of Patricia Blenkins and Steven Connolly.

 ...MISSION STATEMENT...

With the Holy Spirit working through us,

to encourage our community to be part of

God's family and become the body of Christ
